The Myer Centre Adelaide has never been just another
shopping centre. Beyond its landmark location and iconic
brands, it’s the feeling it leaves you with that sets it apart.
When it opened in 1991, it redefined what a shopping
centre could be. The upper levels were home to an
indoor amusement park and Australia’s only indoor
rollercoaster.
It was a place people returned to again and again.
Although the rides are gone, the spirit is etched into
the memories of Adelaide families, and that sense of
excitement still lingers.
Today that legacy continues into a new chapter. Since its acquisition by Starhill Global REIT in 2015, the Centre is undergoing a transformation, refining its offering and evolving for a new generation.
